The Burtons Buy a House

  This is a long overdue blog about how God blessed us with our first home. It was about a year and a half ago that God provided in an unexpected way for us to pay off a large debt so we could refinance our vehicle. Shortly after we went to the bank to find out if we were eligible for a home loan. We were given a few things to do and told to wait a few months for them to show on our credit, so we did. July 2016 Tim and I head back to the bank with our checked off to-do list to show, our banker was impressed and gave us the good news, we were approved! Not even out of the parking lot of the bank we were on the phone with the realtor. Within a week we had found our dream home, it was crazy we'd only seen a handful of houses but when we walked through our house we just knew this was it! Dreams do come true

Edited to Add: Originally written on 8/22/16 You know how we always think about what we want next out of life, or how we wish this situation was different? Well I do, too much. Sometimes I wish my relationship with my husband was new and exciting like it was when we first met. But we're MARRIED, married people don't LIKE each other. Last night I collapsed on the bed after a long day and he put his hand on the side of my face and stroked my cheek with his thumb. Really sweet right? My first thought was, why are mens hands always so warm?! But then I realized, this is it, this is what I always wanted out of my life. When I was 18 all I could talk about was finding a man that loved me and who I am enough to spend forever with me. Yet lately, I find myself missing way we were when we were new.
