It's coming together

Lots of friends have asked how things are coming along with our housing, we're feeling loved to know so many people care! We're not there yet but it is coming together. A little bit of robbing peter to pay paul so please continue to pray for financial provision. Tim has started driving for Uber which is a great opportunity yet it does steal away our already limited time together and his sleep! I have been able to take on some new clients to do hair for (thanks for your support everyone) it's a heck of a lot easier to earn this money than accept it as a gift. Thank you to those who have sent us a little money, wow is that humbling! Our lender is working hard to make everything happen for us. We have a little over a week to get the rest of the money together and then we will need to figure out paying the regular bills. God has come through for us in ways we did not expect, one of the debts that we have to pay off was $300 less than what I had thought it was. Amazing! ...

We've been robbed...again

This adventure certainly has kept us on our toes! Some days I want to pull the vague facebook statuses for sympathy and attention but deep down I'm beyond that.. July 26 - Tim interviews and nails it! July 27 - Our house is inspected (this was the deadline Tim had to get a new job) *repair negotiations currently underway* July 28 - We learn that we have to wait FIVE WEEKS for Tim's first paycheck! But....they will pay for the whole family's health insurance! July 30 - Our house is appraised and is appraised above selling price! August 1 - Tim starts the new job and learns that they...

A whole lot of prayer

It's been a long time since I have blogged, simply for lack of time. Investing my time elsewhere. I felt I needed to carve out some time to ask for support from our friends and family. You've probably seen we're experiencing an unexpected job change. While stressful, the Lord has provided and continues to. This job change is pretty drastic, while Tim is in the same line of work the company only pays their employees once a month. This results in 5 weeks between pay for our family! Then we learned the company pays 100% of the health insurance premium. Awesome news! This will save us money! Then we learned we pay out of pocket for it and all Tim's travel expenses (flights, rental cars, food, equipment etc) to be reimbursed once a month. Starting out with nothing to use for those expenses puts us in a bad spot and it looks like some negotiations might need to be made. Due to the first paycheck being in September we have to wait until then to re-process our mortgage l...
